Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Oro (available at app.oro-ia.com), you accept these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use the service.

Continued use of Oro after any modification to these terms constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

2. Service Description

Oro is a personal finance management application powered by artificial intelligence. The service includes:

• Recording and categorizing transactions (income and expenses)
• Creating and tracking monthly budgets
• Setting up and monitoring savings goals
• AI assistants (Luna and Sol) for financial analysis and conversational recording
• Personalized financial reports and insights
• Budget notifications and alerts
• WhatsApp and Telegram integration for transaction recording
• Shared rooms for group or family expense management
• Patrimony module for tracking assets, liabilities, and investments
• OCR scanning of receipts for automatic transaction recording

Oro does not connect to bank accounts. All financial information is entered manually by the user or through the AI assistants.

3. User Accounts

To use Oro, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and a secure password. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Providing truthful and up-to-date information

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or that remain inactive for an extended period.

4. Subscription and Payments

Oro offers a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial period ends, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the service.

Available Plans

• Personal Monthly: individual access with automatic monthly renewal
• Personal Annual: individual access with automatic yearly renewal (discounted)
• Team Monthly: includes all Personal plan features plus member management, shared rooms, and category-based permissions. Monthly renewal.
• Team Annual: all Team plan features with annual renewal (discounted)

Team Plan Features

• Invite team members with permissions limited by expense category
• Shared rooms to divide and manage group expenses
• Members can record expenses via WhatsApp/Telegram without access to the full account
• Controlled visibility: each member can only see their own records

Payment Methods

• Chile: MercadoPago (credit/debit cards, bank transfer)
• International: Hotmart (international cards, PayPal)
• Cryptocurrency: NOWPayments (USDT, USDC on multiple networks)

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by writing to soporte@oro-ia.com. Upon cancellation:

• You will retain access until the end of the already paid period
• No additional charges will be made
• No refunds are provided for unused partial periods
• Your data will remain available if you decide to reactivate your account

5. Shared Rooms

The Rooms feature allows managing shared expenses among multiple people. When using this feature:

• The room creator is responsible for its administration and data
• Invited members can only record and view expenses according to their granted permissions
• When leaving a room, the member's historical expenses remain in the room's record
• The account holder is responsible for the use made by the members they invite

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, AI algorithms, trademarks, and materials of Oro are the exclusive property of Oro and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the service in accordance with these terms. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the software
• Reverse engineer or decompile the code
• Use the service to develop a competing product
• Sublicense or transfer your access to third parties

7. Limitation of Liability

Oro is a personal financial management tool and does not constitute professional financial advice. Suggestions and analyses provided by the AI assistants (Luna and Sol) are for guidance only and should not be considered as investment recommendations or certified financial advice.

Oro shall not be liable for:

• Financial decisions made based on information from the service
• Economic losses arising from the use or inability to use the service
• Temporary service interruptions due to maintenance or force majeure
• Errors in data entered by the user
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind
• Inaccuracies in OCR reading of receipts or invoices

Oro's maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the last 12 months of subscription.

8. Use of Data

The collection, use, and protection of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.

By using Oro, you consent to the processing of your financial data by our AI systems for the sole purpose of providing you with the contracted service.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Oro for:

• Illegal or fraudulent activities
• Attempting to access other users' accounts
• Interfering with the operation of the service
• Sending malicious content or spam through communication channels
• Violating third-party rights
• Registering false information to manipulate reports or analyses

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Modifications will be notified through:

• Email to the registered address
• Notice within the application

Modifications will take effect 30 days after notification. Continued use of the service after that period constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if:

• You violate these Terms and Conditions
• You use the service fraudulently or abusively
• You fail to pay your subscription after the grace period
• Your account remains inactive for more than 12 months

In case of termination, you will have the opportunity to export your data before it is deleted, except in cases of serious violation of these terms.

12. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the ordinary courts of Santiago de Chile.

Before resorting to legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute amicably through direct communication.
